Commercial License Agreement

Version 1.0 · Effective October 9, 2026 · Updated October 9, 2026

Duck Heroes commercial license. What an active license lets you print and sell, and what you may not do with the digital files.

Plain language

You may

Print and sell unlimited physical objects made from Duck Heroes files on Etsy, Shopify, craft fairs, physical retail, or local markets while your commercial license is active.

You may

Use a print farm or another 3D printing service only to manufacture physical inventory for you.

You may not

Share, resell, redistribute, sublicense, or upload the digital STL, 3MF, or CAD files anywhere, paid or free.

You may not

Use Duck Heroes models for injection molding, resin casting, or die-casting without written permission.

You may not

Name your shop Duck Heroes, use the official logo as your own identity, or claim you are the creator.

When it ends

Selling rights end when the license ends. You keep downloaded files for personal use and get 30 days to sell physical stock you already printed.

1. Grant of license

If you hold an active, paid Duck Heroes commercial license, Duck Heroes grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to produce physical three-dimensional objects (“Physical Prints”) from official Duck Heroes STL and 3MF files.

The license covers objects made by additive manufacturing, including FDM, SLA, and SLS 3D printing. Injection molding, silicone molding, vacuum forming, and die-casting are not included.

A file marked personal use does not include this grant. Personal use means printing for yourself or as a gift, not for sale.

2. Active license and term

Commercial rights exist only while the commercial license is active and in good standing. They start when that license is confirmed and continue for the paid period, monthly or annual, as long as it is renewed.

If the license lapses, is cancelled, or is terminated, commercial selling rights end at the close of the current paid period, except for the sell-through in Section 9.

Duck Heroes is not offering membership or a public catalog on this website yet. These terms apply when a commercial license is actually issued. They do not create an offer by themselves.

3. Where you can sell

With an active commercial license you may market and sell Physical Prints through legitimate retail and online channels worldwide, including:

Online marketplaces such as Etsy, Amazon, eBay, Shopify, and TikTok Shop.

In-person venues such as craft fairs, maker markets, conventions, and pop-up shops.

Local shops and small wholesale accounts.

There is no country limit on where you may ship a finished physical object.

4. Digital file limits

This license is for physical goods. You may not:

Sell, resell, sublicense, gift, lease, or distribute the digital STL, 3MF, OBJ, or source CAD files.

Upload Duck Heroes files to cloud drives, file-sharing sites, torrents, Discord, Telegram, or 3D model sites.

Add the digital files as a bonus, bundle, or giveaway with any purchase.

Turn the files into NFTs, game assets, or other digital products without written consent.

5. Print farms

You may hire a 3D printing service to produce physical inventory for you if all of the following are true:

The service receives files only to fill your physical orders.

The service gets no right to list, market, or sell Duck Heroes designs on its own.

You require the service to delete the files when your order is finished.

6. Changes and paint

You may scale a model, change filament color, paint it, add a physical part such as a keyring, magnet, or stand, or make a small geometric adjustment so the physical print is yours to sell.

A modified or remixed digital file still belongs to Duck Heroes. You may not publish, share, or sell that digital file.

7. Name, logo, and credit

Credit such as “Designed by Duck Heroes” on a listing or package is welcome. It is not required on every physical listing.

You may describe a product as a Duck Heroes model or by its model name. You may not name your store or company Duck Heroes, or a name that is easy to confuse with it.

You may not use official Duck Heroes logos, avatars, or site graphics as your own brand. You may not claim to be the official creator, an exclusive distributor, or a corporate partner.

8. Third-party characters

Duck Heroes files are original sculptures that interpret a theme as a duck. Names, marks, and stories of films, games, comics, and characters stay with their owners.

This license does not grant those trademarks. Do not present a physical print as official merchandise, a licensed product, or an item made or endorsed by the rights holder.

9. Cancellation and sell-through

When a commercial license ends:

You keep personal, non-commercial use of the files you downloaded while the license was active.

You stop printing new units for sale at the end of the paid period.

You have 30 calendar days after that date to sell physical inventory you printed before the license ended.

After those 30 days, selling Duck Heroes models without an active license is outside this agreement.

10. Ownership

Copyright in the Duck Heroes model files, brand, and site content stays with Duck Heroes. This agreement does not transfer ownership.

Duck Heroes may end the license of anyone who distributes the digital files, and may use the remedies available under copyright law, including takedown notices.
